We have a complete team of certified and trained marine mechanics, welders, technicians, painters, and carpenters. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to offer our customers the most comprehensive list of services and capabilities. All of our work exceeds maritime regulations for marine engineering and complies with USCG and ABS standards.

We provide a wide range of fabrication and welding services. Our welders are ABS certified and experienced in MAW/SMAW/GTAW/FCAW welding. We specialize in pipe & ship fitting, structural fabrication, hull, shell plate deck & bulkhead replacements. We also fabricate deck and dump barges.   

Our Machine Shop offers services in repairs and maintenance of bearings, winches, cranes, anchor windless, propulsion shafts including completing propulsion shaft run out readings, propellers, hydraulically operated deck equipment, valves repair and replacement, hydraulic motors, generators, and steering gear systems. We also complete piping systems repairs and installations, centrifugal pump inspection and repairs, cutlass bearing inspection and replacements.  In the thirty-year history of our company, we have completed full Engine Room repowering projects that included replacement of main propulsion engines, ship service generators, marine transmissions, full engine laser alignments, and cutlass bearing renewal. We provide certified factory trained marine diesel mechanics to assist with every facet of the repowering project. Our 50-ton mobile crane and 9,000# boom truck allows us to move heavy machinery and equipment throughout the shipyard.

Our marine capabilities includes;  troubleshooting, repair, and installation of all marine electrical systems including three phase and single phase circuits, 12v and 24v systems, navigation lighting, shipboard lighting,  trouble shooting and repairing fire alarm panels, bow and stern thruster installations and repairs, motor and motor controller repairs and installations,  inspection and repairs of power generation equipment including ship service generators and switchboards, inspection and replacements of all types of electrical breakers, and complete supply and exhaust fan inspections and replacements.  We provide technical support, electrical testing & assist with USCG COI inspections.

We are a highly qualified marine industry painting facility. We provide 40,000 PSI water blasting and abrasive blast services with a dedicated Blast Shed. We paint both Epoxy Primer as well as Antifouling and have the capability to apply one-step decking on interior decks. All blasting & priming are by NACE specifications.

Our certified marine railways capacities are as follows; railway NR1 is certified haul vessels up to 1200 tons, railway NR2 is certified to haul vessels up to 625 tons, and railway NR3 is certified to haul vessels up 600 tons.  Our dockage space for vessel dockside repairs includes a 280-foot dock and a 350-foot dock.  We can complete full dockside availabilities at both dockage locations.  We offer shore services during the vessel’s stay at Rockland Marine Corporation that includes; shore electrical power and watchman security services; at the end of each work day, weekends and all holidays. 

We offer full off-site services that includes; troubleshooting, repair or all marine engineering systems.  Working directly with the ABS inspector, USCG inspector and the customer, we complete all projects according to ABS or USCG requirements.  We provide technical support in every facet of marine engineering; hull, deck machinery, main propulsion and auxiliary machinery, power generation, electrical testing and repair, and provide direct assistance with the vessel’s United States Coast Guard’s COI inspections.

FABRICATION & WELD SHOP

Our 150’x40′ welding shop, equipped with an overhead Gantry crane, is fully capable of handling various welding projects. The shop contains the following equipment: a 25-ton press brake, a 100-ton ironworker, a 1/2″x10″ plate shear, a 1/4″x8″ plate rolls, band and cut-off saws, a metal sander, plasma cutters, Heliarc machines, as well as fixed and portable welding equipment.

MACHINE SHOP

Our 160’x50′ Machine Shop features a 2-ton overhead Gantry crane and includes the following equipment: Propulsion Shaft and Vertical Lathe(s), a 30-Ton press, Band saw(s), Milling machines, Radial Arm drill(s), and Drill presses.

 ON-SITE STOCKROOM

With over 3000 sq ft of space, our on-site stockroom is meticulously maintained and regularly restocked to ensure smooth operations.
